Passwords in Identifi are largely managed by the Users themselves.
Administrator Resets:
When the User is initially added to the system, an Administrator will need to send a Password Reset email to allow the User to set up their password. (This Password Reset can also be used any time the User needs to be reset.)
User Resets:
If a User forgets their password, clicking Forgot Password on the log in screen will prompt the same reset email that would be sent if an Administrator clicked the Password Reset button.
Note: Regardless of whether a User or an Administrator initiates the reset, it is recommended that a user wait at least 1 minute after the password has been reset before attempting to login with the new password.
Password Expiration is set at the installation level, often 60-90 days
Setup -> System -> Settings -> General Settings
Note: On installations with SSO configured, passwords are managed by the Single Sign On application.
