Identifi requires Users to have “Strong Passwords”. Standard business rules for strong passwords require that a password must meet the following criteria:
• be at least 12 characters long
• contain a special character
• contain both an uppercase and lowercase character
• contain a digit
• have no spaces
Passwords cannot be reused, indefinitely.
For installations not using Single Sign On (SSO) such as Azure or Okta, a User may request a link to reset their Password by clicking on the "Forgot Password" link:
When a user receives the Password Reset link email, they must wait at least 1 minute after resetting the password before they attempt to login again or the login attempt will fail.
If they keep trying to login, the user will get locked out after 5 attempts. The User lockout will auto-reset 5 minutes after the last failed login attempt. So if the user waits at least a minute after setting the password, they should be fine. This issue has been reported by several customers recently and our Products team is investigating in order to correct the issue in a future release.
