Permissions in Identifi

Application, Attribute, Document Type, Document & Security Profile Permissions
View	Allows Users to View the document. Default
Download & Print	Allows Users to use   in the Document Search menu bar to print a .pdf or download the the document image(s).
View Note	Allows Users to access Notes Panel in Document Viewer and View Notes on the document.
Add Note	Allows Users to Add Notes on the document.  Can also Delete their own note.  Must also have View Permission.
Change Note	Allows Users to Delete any Notes placed on the document. Note: Must also have View Note permission.
Add	Allows Users access to the section of the Menu, allowing them to add electronically-stored documents to the Archive.
Index	Allows Users access to edit attributes in the Indexing Panel within the Document Viewer and to mass modify documents using Index in Document Search.
Revise	Allows Users access to the  features in the Document Viewer
Delete	Allows Users to Delete the documents from the Archive. Note: Deletion is permanent.
Administrator Role required to grant these Permissions.
Entity Type Permissions
View	Allows Users to view entity items. Default
Create	Allows Users to Create new items in the entity using  in the Data menu.
Update	Allows Users access to modify details of entity items. Document Tracking: Ability to Add Requirements, Tracking Sets and Assign Users.  Access to override and adjust Requirement Status and due periods.
Delete	Allows Users to Delete entity items. Note: Deletion is permanent
View Note	Allows Users to access View Notes on entity items. Document Tracking: Ability to view Requirement level Notes.
Add Note	Allows Users to Add Notes on the entity items. Can also delete or modify their Note. Must also have View Note permission. Document Tracking: Ability to Add Requirement level Notes.
Change Note	Allows Users to delete and modify any Note on an entity item. Note: Must also have View Note permission. Document Tracking: Ability to delete and modify Requirement level Notes.
Administrator Role required to grant these Permissions.
Other Types of Permissions Report Permissions:  Allows Users to see specific reports in Analytics.  (For installations with the Advanced Analytics module.)        None- The report will not appear for the user. Full- User will be able view, print and export report Read Only- Same access as Full. View Only- Same access as Full. Locked- Same access as Full. Administrator or Report Administrator Role required to grant these Permissions. Notes: Installations without this Custom Report feature will not see Analytics in the menu at all. Identifi’s Analytics Platform is nearing the end of life. It is being replaced with a combination of new reporting features in the main product as well as new features that make custom reports obsolete. For additional information, please refer to this article. Public Smart Folder Visibility: Adding Users here allows them to see Public Smart Folders. Subscribing to the folder initiates an email when new docs are added to the folder.  Administrator or Smart Folder Administrator Role required. Scan Plan Security: Adding users here limits who will have access to use the Scan Plan.  Administrator Role required to grant this access. Work Plan Permissions: Determine what actions a User can take within a Workflow. Start- Plan will appear in the Workflow Start menu View- Plan and its steps will appear in Browse menu. Manage- User will be able to Reassign, Terminate, change Priority and Resend Notifications for the Plan’s items. Design- Will be able to edit the Plan design and settings. Administrator Role required to grant these Permissions. Online eSign Profile Permissions: Adding users here determines allows them to use the Profile. Create- Profile will appear in dropdown list when creating a new Package. Manage- The user will be able to use Online eSign Search to view and reassign any packages sent using the Profile. Administrator Role required to grant this access.
