All User Roles in Identifi and the access that each provides:
Administrator |
Access to all features and the ability to manage all aspects of the installation, with the exception of Online eSign Settings (with the exception of Online eSign Settings, which are managed by the System Administrator Role). | |
Batch Administrator |
Access to the Batches and Add features under the Documents menu. Able to index, reassign and delete all batches. Able to upload and index electronic documents through Add, pending Application Permissions (see here for more details). Note: Must also have User Role. | |
Batch Indexer |
Access to the Batches and Add features under the Documents menu. Able to index their own or unassigned Batches. May delete their own Batches. Able to upload and index electronic documents through Add, pending Application Permissions (see here for more details). Note: Must also have User Role. | |
Batch Scanner |
Ability to use the Scan Client. Note: Must also have User Role. | |
Document Mover |
Ability to use the feature in Document Search, to move a document from one Application to another. Must have Permissions for both Applications (see here for more details). Note: Must also have User Role. | |
Document Type Administrator |
Ability to manage all Document Groups and Document Types (Delete, Add and modify). Tracking Sets and Tracking Statuses as well. Note: Must also have User Role. | |
eReceipt User |
Ability to access the eReceipt Client. Must also have User Role. Note: In order for the User to also be able to scan barcoded Drive-Thru receipts, the Batch Scan User Role is required. | |
Desktop eSign User |
The ability to access the Desktop eSign Client, eSign Search and My Packages. Note: Must also have User Role. | |
eSign Online User |
The ability to create, manage and index eSign Online Packages. Note: Must also have User Role and Profile rights required. | |
Report Administrator |
Ability to view and manage all Reports in Analytics and access to all reports in the Reporting section of the menu. Note: Must also have User Role. |

Report User |
Access to the Reporting section of the menu and the Activity/Batch Indexing, Document Tracking and Document Retention reports there. Will also have access to Analytics and any reports to which they have been granted Permissions (see here for more details). Note: Must also have User Role. |

Smart Folder Administrator |
The ability to create and manage Public Smart Folders. Access to specific Documents dependent upon Application Permissions (see here for more details). Note: Must also have User Role. |
